Our next Stempra Lunch & Learn masterclass sessions has been set! These are free lunchtime online training sessions, open to all Stempra members.

Thursday 6 November at 12:30-1:30 pm BST

About this event
In feedback from the membership, we’ve seen a growing appetite to improve science writing skills beyond (while still including) the classic press release. As we see communications jobs requiring more content creation for various platforms and outlets, this provides a great opportunity for new and creative approaches to science writing, but sometimes it can feel a bit daunting to get started!

This session will be run by one of our very own Stempra members, Lisa Boucher – Communications Manager for Nature at Springer Nature.

You’ll get an insight into the different opportunities your organisation may have for writing about your work and research, how to make it informative and engaging for your different audiences, and some top tips on improving your writing skills.

It’ll take place from 12:30 – 1:30 pm on Thursday 6 November for one hour online on Zoom. There’ll also be a chance to ask questions at the end.
