At this event, we’ll hear directly from a mentor, Dr Shamim Quadir, Senior Communications Officer at City St George’s and mentee, Rebecca Hurrey, Corporate Communications Officer at the University of Leeds, who took part in the Buddy Scheme last year. They will reflect on their experience, share what they learned from one another, and discuss how mentoring can build confidence, develop careers and strengthen the science communication community. Whether you’re considering becoming a mentor, looking for support in your career, or simply want to celebrate the impact of mentoring, this session is for you.
