About this event
Join us for a practical session on how to meaningfully evaluate communications activity. Tim Bailey, Director of Purposeful Relations will introduce the association for the measurement and evaluation of communication (AMEC)’s Evaluation Framework, setting out best practice for ethical, consistent and impact‑focused measurement. Claire Bithell, freelance Communications Consultant, and David Schley, Communications and Engagement Lead at the Academy of Mathematical Sciences, will then share real‑world case studies demonstrating how they have evaluated communications campaigns, learnt what works, and improve future activity.
Whether you’re new to evaluation or looking to strengthen your approach, this event will offer clear frameworks, practical examples and take‑away insights to help you measure what really matters. We are hoping to make this an interactive session for both in-person and remote participants so that we can all learn from each other. Please note that we probably won’t be going into specific tools during the discussion, but there will be an opportunity for attendees to talk about the tools they are using in the interactive part of the session.
