Rob is Director of Communications, Advocacy and Support at the Meningitis Research Foundation.

After studying biology at university he moved into journalism before finding his love: science communications and PR.

With experience spanning the pharmaceutical sector, NHS, not-for-profit, agency and public sector, he has been a part of several committees and working groups to help train, mentor and share best practice within the PR and communications industry.

Memorable moments include working with royalty to promote bone health, holding media briefings on the front line of GM protests and helping achieve global action on meningitis from the World Health Organization.

He is a Communiqué Award judge, guest lecturer at Cambridge and Kent University, was editor of the NAM and aidsmap HIV Treatment Training Manual and creates content as a freelancer for a range of health platforms.
