In a time of wall-to-wall pandemic stories, it can be hard to get attention for important science on other topics. Join STEMPRA to hear from physics and engineering communications experts who’ve overcome this challenge and brought their science to life.
They’ll talk us through stories they’ve worked on, how they brought them to life and cut through COVID-19, and their top tips on different ways of working.

Jim Drury, Head of Video Content at April Six - April Six is a PR/Marketing industry specialist in Mobility, Technology, and Science, Jim creates compelling video content for its wide range of science/technology clients, such as CERN, Ordnance Survey, and Raspberry Pi. He is also a former Reuters TV journalist of 20+ years, including leading its Innovations service.
Meg Holmes, Communications and Marketing Manager for the Faculty of Engineering at The University of Sheffield - a senior PR and Communications specialist with over 15 years experience of leading large MarComms teams. Her experience runs the breadth of PR into event management, internal communications and implementing strategic communications for major industry and higher education.
